Double Cheeseburger

2 Cook the Beef Patties
Heat a grill, grill pan, or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the beef patties and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for a medium-rare burger, or longer if you prefer your patties well-done. In the final minute of cooking, place one slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and let it melt, covering the pan or grill with a lid to help the cheese melt more evenly.
3 Prepare the Buns
While the patties are cooking, cut the sesame seed bun in half. If you like, you can toast the cut sides of the bun on the grill or in a pan with a little butter for extra flavor and texture. This step adds a nice crunch and a golden finish to the bun.
4 Assemble the Burger
Once the patties are cooked and the cheese is melted, it’s time to assemble the burger. Start by placing the bottom half of the bun on a plate. Add a layer of fresh lettuce, followed by a slice of tomato. Place the first cheesy beef patty on top of the vegetables, then stack the second beef patty with cheese on top. Add pickles if you like a tangy crunch, and top it off with ketchup and mustard or your favorite sauce for added flavor.
5 Finish the Burger
Place the top half of the sesame seed bun on the burger, pressing down gently to secure everything in place. If you’d like, you can cut the burger in half to make it easier to handle or serve as is for the full experience.
6 Serve and Enjoy
Serve your double cheeseburger hot with your favorite side dishes such as fries, onion rings, or a refreshing salad. Enjoy each juicy bite of this flavorful, cheesy masterpiece!
